Job Overview

We are seeking a Career Counselor to join an educational institution in Kolkata on a full-time onsite basis. The ideal candidate will have between 1 to 5 years of experience in the education or EdTech sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise students and their parents about various courses and career pathways.
• Guide applicants smoothly through admission and enrollment procedures.
• Manage inquiries from walk-in visitors, phone calls, and online channels.
• Follow up with potential students to convert prospects into confirmed admissions.
• Organize and conduct career counseling sessions and educational seminars.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date student records within the CRM or database system.
• Collaborate with admissions and academic departments to ensure coordinated efforts.
• Meet monthly admission goals while maintaining a high standard of student experience.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in educational institutions such as colleges, universities, coaching centers, or EdTech companies.
• Excellent communication skills combined with effective counseling techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills, presentation capability, and persuasive abilities.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications and CRM platforms.
• Target-driven with a positive, professional demeanor.

Compensation & Additional Details

The salary offered is competitive and will be commensurate with the candidate's experience. Preference will be given to immediate joiners and those already experienced within the education industry.
