About the Role

CareOff is seeking responsible Caregivers, Elder Caregivers, Babysitters, Care Companions, and Caretakers to assist families by providing attentive child and elder care. The position demands professionalism, neat appearance, and conversational skills in English, Hindi, and Kannada.

Core Responsibilities

General Duties:

• Ensure the safety of the child or elder consistently
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of environment
• Adhere strictly to family routines and directions
• Immediately report emergencies or health concerns
• Restrict mobile phone use to essential communications

Child Care Tasks:

• Assist with dressing and personal grooming
• Engage children in play, reading, and fundamental educational activities
• Keep toys and living spaces organized and clean
• Maintain adherence to sleeping and meal schedules
• Accompany children to parks or schools when permitted

Elder Care Duties:

• Support grooming, toileting, and dressing needs
• Assist with mobility including walking or wheelchair use
• Provide reminders for medication intake
• Prepare meals according to instructions
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Ensure the elder's living area is safe and clean

Professional Conduct

Grooming Requirements:

• Maintain a clean, neat, and well-groomed appearance
• Daily bathing and clean attire required
• Clean hair and trimmed nails; avoid strong fragrances
• Wear CareOff uniform during duty hours

Communication & Behavior:

• Basic proficiency in English, Hindi, and Kannada required
• Communicate respectfully and politely with families
• Provide regular updates to family members
• Listen carefully and follow directions accurately

• Respect elders, children, and family members at all times
• Avoid shouting, arguing, or gossip
• Comply with household rules including areas like kitchen and shoe usage
• Limit personal phone use strictly to necessary moments
• Respect family privacy without exceptions

Discipline & Time Management:

• Arrive punctually every day
• Follow the established daily schedule diligently
• Inform family promptly if running late

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be aged between 18 and 35 years
• Open to all genders
• Must speak English, Hindi, and Kannada
• Exemplary behavior and professionalism expected
• Adherence to grooming standards is mandatory
• No prior experience required; training provided

Compensation and Growth

• Monthly salary range: ₹22,500 to ₹50,000
• Free uniform and professional training with certification

• Opportunities for advancement after 12–18 months into roles such as Senior Care Specialist, Trainer, Team Leader, Daycare Manager, or positions in hospitality, customer service, and airport assistance
