Role Overview

This role involves courteously and efficiently picking up and delivering packages along a designated route, ensuring all shipments meet Federal Express Canada service standards, and performing related customer service duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and timely package pick-up and delivery on assigned routes.
• Verify shipments comply with FedEx Canada service features.
• Offer excellent customer service related to delivery operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of high school or equivalent education.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs and handle up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Preferably at least one year of customer-focused business experience.
• Successful completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
• Basic knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain performance under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including holidays based on business requirements.

Additional Information

This position requires compliance with driving standards, including holding a valid class 5, G, or 1[AZ] license and maintaining no more than two driving infractions or accidents in the previous 24 months. Candidates will be assessed through a driving record check, interview performance, and driving evaluations. Employees in Quebec must be bilingual in French and English.
