Role Overview

Join a UK-based services company as a C# Selenium Automation Testing Engineer based in Hyderabad, India. This role involves developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts leveraging C# and Selenium WebDriver, specifically tailored to medical device software. The position demands adherence to critical regulatory standards and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage automated test scripts using C# alongside Selenium WebDriver.
  • Design and build resilient test automation frameworks targeted at medical device software applications, with experience in BDD frameworks like SpecFlow considered advantageous.
  • Perform diverse testing types including functional, regression, integration, and system tests to ensure validation against requirements.
  • Coordinate with developers, QA personnel, and product teams to define detailed test cases and develop automation approaches.
  • Ensure automation testing rigorously complies with regulatory guidelines such as FDA 21 CFR Part 820, IEC 62304, and ISO 13485.
  • Diagnose and resolve automation failures, escalating and collaborating with development teams to promptly address critical issues.
  • Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including test scripts, execution outcomes, traceability matrices, and support for compliance audits or inspections.
  • Hands-on experience with API automation utilizing tools like RestAssured is preferred.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

  • Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience ranging from 3 to 6 years in automation testing employing C# and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Strong domain knowledge of medical device software development and testing lifecycles is essential.
  • Proficiency with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or SpecFlow (BDD methodology).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory standards pertinent to medical devices, specifically FDA 21 CFR Part 820, IEC 62304, and ISO 13485.
  • Possess strong analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, debugging skills, and clear communication capabilities.
  • Willingness to work onsite 5 days a week at the Hyderabad location is required.
