Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect parcels courteously, representing FedEx in a professional manner to customers.
- Operate vehicles from the FedEx fleet on assigned delivery routes across specified postal areas, ensuring timely and accurate package delivery.
- Maintain safety and legal compliance in all vehicle operations.
- Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Dependable team-oriented individual with energetic and enthusiastic approach.
- Strong focus on customer service and effective communication skills.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Possession of a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type, ideally held for over two years.
- Ability to adjust to various driving conditions and situations.
- Commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of local geography.
Employment Details
The position is full-time with a salary of approximately £35,408 per annum. Work schedules are Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:30 with a one-hour break, totaling 45 hours weekly.
