직무 설명
Position Overview
We are seeking a Buyer Planner to work onsite in County Mayo. The role requires fostering strong, cooperative relationships with both on-site customer teams and company colleagues at various locations, including the head office.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain positive collaborations with on-site customer personnel and internal company teams.
- Develop supplier relationships aimed at maximizing commercial advantage aligned with purchasing goals.
- Manage the order process comprehensively to ensure timely delivery and appropriate follow-up.
- Closely oversee shipments, particularly monitoring late deliveries.
- Generate and interpret product performance data, providing informed decisions and recommendations on product profiling.
- Review and adjust system-generated stock forecasts, including order placements, to maintain optimal customer service levels at minimal costs.
- Lead stock clearance initiatives by coordinating on-site cleanses, prioritizing problematic stock, and meeting aged stock reduction targets.
- Supervise franchise activities and organize promotional events.
- Gather and evaluate supplier performance and market intelligence to support negotiation and supplier enhancement sessions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A third-level degree in Purchasing or a related discipline is mandatory.
- Multiple years of professional experience in purchasing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
- Proactive in completing necessary training and ensuring site training compliance ahead of deadlines.
- Respond promptly to urgent demands while keeping all relevant stakeholders updated.
- Participate actively in meetings with customer stakeholders, various tiers, procurement, Material Review Board (MRB), and finance teams.
