About the Role
This position focuses on expanding Lenskart’s store network by finding and securing suitable commercial retail spaces for new outlets across the assigned region. The role involves end-to-end property discovery, evaluation, negotiation, documentation, and coordination until the store is ready to open.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify appropriate commercial retail locations for setting up new Lenskart stores in the assigned region.
- Manage the search for retail properties and work closely with property developers, landlords, project consultants, and brokers.
- Assess locations and catchment areas for new store feasibility, then negotiate and close property deals.
- Finalize rental terms, landlord scope of work, and other commercial agreements related to the site.
- Support legal due diligence and complete the paperwork needed for acquisition and signing.
- Coordinate with internal teams throughout the process until the store launch is completed.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of growth opportunities, including both organic expansion and acquisition-led expansion.
Candidate Profile
- The role is suitable for candidates with 1 to 20 years of experience in business development, property acquisition, or property scouting.
