About the Role
We are an international recruitment consultancy focused on automotive talent solutions in Australia, currently seeking to broaden our footprint within the Australian market. Having experienced steady growth over the last five years, supported by a robust team of 30 to 40 professionals handling sourcing, pre-sales, and operations, our local Australian team remains compact. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with leadership and significantly contribute to local business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business prospects across automotive dealerships and related companies.
- Establish and nurture strong client relationships through in-person meetings and networking activities.
- Proactively generate and convert leads by employing business development strategies.
- Manage the complete sales process, from initial contact through to closing deals.
- Coordinate effectively with offshore support and pre-sales teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Spot opportunities for repeat business and fostering long-term partnerships.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- Demonstrated success in business development or sales roles.
- Experience or familiarity with the automotive industry is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communicator skilled at building and maintaining client relationships.
- Self-motivated and comfortable with independent work in a role demanding high ownership.
- Driven by achieving targets and thriving in a commission-based incentive model.
