Overview
Michelin is seeking resilient, customer-focused professionals with a proactive approach to business development and a passion for B2B sales. This role involves expanding market presence and driving profitable growth across strategic accounts in the transport and fleet sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Penetrate new markets by establishing a strong competitive stance for Michelin's existing technical solutions.
- Accelerate revenue growth among strategic and direct end-user accounts through active new business acquisition and commercial leadership.
- Maintain and advance a robust sales pipeline focused on transport fleet and national accounts.
- Evaluate and qualify prospective deals by assessing market strategies, customer needs, viability, and financial potential.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients and partners via targeted outreach and networking.
- Close deals by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts, and managing operational integration.
- Support and direct Account Managers on new opportunities to align with customers’ strategic and operational objectives.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to document customer data, update pipeline status, and generate insightful reports to guide commercial strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in sales and customer account management with the ability to build and manage networks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills capable of interpreting data, preparing reports, and providing clear commercial guidance.
- Outstanding communication skills, adept in explaining solutions and influencing various stakeholders.
- Self-motivated individual who works independently and collaboratively within teams.
- Interest or background in automotive, transport, or motorsport is advantageous.
- Proficient or willing to learn CRM software (Salesforce) and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Available for approximately 6–8 days of travel per month with strong personal time management skills.
- Must hold valid authorization to work in Australia; candidates from New Zealand are also encouraged to apply.
