About The Role
The Smart Local Media Group is looking for a driven Business Development Assistant to energize its sales efforts. This role centers on pursuing fresh business opportunities and nurturing lasting client partnerships as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to potential brand collaborators using varied communication methods.
- Develop tailored proposals outlining strategic approaches for brand partnerships.
- Handle the preparation of campaign contracts and invoicing documentation.
- Participate in company meetings and occasionally attend corporate events.
- Support the creative team in campaign brainstorming, content scheduling, and execution in areas such as social media and video projects.
- Carry out additional tasks as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing or holding a Diploma or Degree in Business, Communications, or related fields.
- Possess strong insight into digital media, content publishing, and social platforms.
- Skilled negotiator with a business-oriented approach.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Capable of juggling several projects concurrently and meeting stringent deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with an aptitude for forging strong professional connections.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to a minimum internship period of 20 weeks (5 months).
