Role Overview
OISSG Consultancy invites applications for an experienced specialist to lead business continuity and emergency response risk management efforts within a strategic government transformation project based in Qatar.
Key Duties
- Create and implement a comprehensive Emergency Response Risk Management Framework.
- Carry out detailed Operational Risk Assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Maintain Risk Registers and develop Risk Treatment Plans addressing identified risks.
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to assess how disruptions affect critical services.
- Formulate Business Continuity Plans (BCP) ensuring organizational resilience.
- Determine critical processes and establish corresponding recovery approaches.
- Contribute to reengineering of emergency response workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Organize and lead workshops engaging key stakeholders.
- Take active part in emergency simulation drills to test preparedness.
- Ensure all practices are consistent with ISO 22301 standards and other global benchmarks.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years' hands-on experience in business continuity and operational risk management.
- Proven expertise in managing projects related to government entities is strongly preferred.
- Professional credentials such as CBCI, ISO 22301, PMI-RMP, or ISO 31000 add great value.
- Fluent communication skills in Arabic (mandatory) and English.
- Residency within Qatar is required for this position.
- Strong abilities in communication, facilitation, and managing stakeholder relationships.
