Business Analyst

Overview

This role is offered on behalf of a partner organization seeking a skilled Business Analyst based in the United States. The position involves facilitating meaningful technology initiatives by bridging business goals with innovative IT solutions centered on Microsoft 365 technologies. The successful candidate will analyze business strategies, engage with stakeholders, and help translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements to enable improved operational results and technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements within Microsoft 365 environments to recommend solutions supporting projects and service advancements.
• Serve as a conduit between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment on solution delivery.
• Collect and document functional requirements, user workflows, and stakeholder impacts through interviews, workshops, and expert meetings.
• Create professional documentation including business requirement documents, user guides, onboarding materials, process descriptions, and operational deliverables.
• Develop engaging presentations tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to the creation of standardized solutions such as playbooks and case studies to enhance service quality.
• Identify process improvements and operational efficiencies through data-driven analysis and technology integration.
• Design business process models, RACI charts, UI wireframes, and functional workflows as needed.
• Support adoption strategies including onboarding and knowledge transfer to ensure successful implementation of technologies.
• Participate in RFP and RFI analysis by providing business insights and requirements evaluation.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum five years’ experience supporting IT projects with a bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft 365 (Office 365) platforms, leveraging these tools to facilitate projects and stakeholder communication.
• Experience applying AI technologies to optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and drive business results.
• Capability to dissect complex business problems and innovate processes, systems, and solutions accordingly.
• Demonstrated understanding of various business domains, user needs, and effective problem-solving approaches.
• Proficiency in producing executive-level presentations, detailed requirements documents, and other business analysis outputs.
• Skill in translating technical concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with creating RACI matrices, process workflows, and user experience documentation.
• Experience with UI wireframing and functional workflow design is beneficial.
• Strong organizational ability to manage competing priorities and foster cross-team collaboration.
• Track record in supporting technology adoption, onboarding, integration, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
• Participation in RFP/RFI processes is advantageous.
• Preferred certification: AI-900.
• Must meet security clearance requirements, including potential background checks.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging between $110,000 and $195,000, variable based on experience, education, certifications, industry background, and clearance status.
