Role Overview
The Business Analyst Intern will serve as a key contributor to analyzing and enhancing business operations tied to full-arch dental restoration services. This on-site position in the Washington DC–Baltimore area involves gathering and documenting business requirements, aiding in workflow mapping, and pinpointing opportunities to boost operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The intern will collaborate with multiple teams to interpret data, generate reports, and assist in formulating recommendations for operational and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and document detailed business requirements to support operational needs.
- Assist in creating maps of business workflows and processes.
- Identify areas for efficiency improvements and enhanced customer experience.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to analyze relevant data and prepare reports.
- Support the development of suggestions for process and system upgrades.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated analytical abilities with skill in interpreting data trends.
- Basic experience or academic background in business analysis and requirement gathering.
- Knowledge of business process documentation, mapping, and continuous improvement.
- Strong verbal and written communication aptitude for engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with productivity and analytical software such as Excel and PowerPoint; some experience with data visualization tools is advantageous.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
- Capability to work on-site, juggle multiple responsibilities, and focus on details in a dynamic workplace.
- Interest in healthcare, particularly dental technologies or laboratory environments, is beneficial but not required.
