About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Business Analyst to assess business processes and uncover opportunities for enhancement. This role involves delivering data-backed solutions aligned with organizational goals by working closely with multiple stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, technology teams, finance, operations, and end users. The successful candidate will translate business needs into functional solutions aimed at boosting efficiency, productivity, and overall company performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, evaluate, and document business and functional requirements accurately.
- Examine business workflows to identify areas for process improvements.
- Organize and lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement gathering sessions.
- Develop documentation including business cases, process maps, workflows, and functional specs.
- Collaborate throughout project lifecycles with project managers, developers, and end users.
- Assist in solution design, system rollouts, and business transformation projects.
- Conduct gap analyses, root cause diagnostics, and impact assessments.
- Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solutions.
- Track project progress ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Create management reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Analyze key performance indicators and operational data to measure business performance.
- Identify potential project risks and advise on mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to governance, quality standards, and company policies.
- Promote continuous improvement and support change management efforts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, business analysis methods, and emerging tech advancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- Strong foundation in business analysis concepts and process modeling techniques.
- Proven experience in gathering requirements, documentation, and managing stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrids.
- Knowledge of Business Process Modeling (BPM), UML, or workflow analysis frameworks.
- Competency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Visio, Jira, Confluence, SQL, or equivalents.
- Highly developed analytical thinking, critical problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including presentation capabilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in supporting digital transformation or system implementations is beneficial.
- Capacity to work independently and also collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong business insight with a customer-centered approach.
