About the Role

This position involves managing Prior Authorization tasks for US healthcare services through voice communications. The candidate will be responsible for liaising with insurance providers to obtain necessary authorizations and verifying insurance benefits in accordance with healthcare plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for handling Prior Authorization processes via voice communications.
• Contact and coordinate with insurance companies to procure prior authorizations and confirm benefit details.
• Closely monitor pending authorization requests and actively resolve any issues related to authorizations.
• Ensure all interactions and communications are properly documented within the billing system.
• Collaborate with the Team Leader to meet required quality and productivity benchmarks.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Prior experience with Prior Authorization in voice-based processes is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care insurance plans.
• Excellent oral and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Immediate availability is highly favored.

This is an office-based role located in Perungudi, Chennai.
