Role Overview

We are seeking a gifted brand designer to develop an elegant and enduring visual identity for a new Australian wellness company. The design approach should be sophisticated, refined, and architectural, inspired by boutique interior aesthetics and premium wellness brands. The brand must communicate a sense of calm, warmth, and subtle luxury through a minimalist palette featuring neutral tones like limestone, linen, timber, and soft black. This visual identity will lay the groundwork for an ongoing collaboration aimed at creating a cohesive and memorable brand image that conveys trust, professionalism, and authentic care, avoiding typical healthcare or corporate motifs.

Key Deliverables

Creation of primary logo, secondary logo, and brand mark/icon
Development of a complete color palette and typography system
Comprehensive brand guidelines detailing usage and visual direction
Production of social media profile assets
Design direction for a Squarespace website focusing on minimalism and ample white space
Visual style incorporating architectural elements like arches, natural lighting, and understated luxury
All assets to be provided in suitable digital and print-ready formats

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in designing high-end brand identities, preferably within wellness, boutique, or interior design industries
A strong portfolio showcasing minimalistic, timeless, and sophisticated designs
Skilled in producing detailed brand guidelines and assets across multiple platforms
Proficiency with major design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
Capability to convert abstract ideas into unified visual systems
Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to meet tight deadlines and incorporate feedback effectively
Experience in guiding Squarespace website design is highly valued
Preference for candidates based in Australia or who can work within Australian time zones
