Role overview

A growing and innovative professional services accounting practice is looking for an experienced bookkeeper to support a portfolio of business clients. In this position, you will assist the Head of Bookkeeping with the day-to-day running of the division and gain exposure across a broad client base.

Key duties

Handle payroll processing end to end, including payroll tax matters
Manage job budgets, timesheets, and related administrative tasks
Prepare quarterly and monthly BAS statements
Compile and review monthly reporting
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Candidate profile

Strong prior bookkeeping experience is required, ideally around 2 years in an accounting or bookkeeping firm
Up-to-date knowledge of awards and their application in payroll situations
Confident using Xero and MYOB
