Accounting Supervisor

Role overview

The hiring team is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join a professional services setting in Dubai. This position suits an accounting professional with hands-on exposure to client accounting, tax work, and regulatory compliance, and offers room to grow within a client-facing environment.

What you will do

You will oversee a client portfolio and make sure accounting, tax, and compliance deliverables are completed accurately and on time while strengthening long-term client relationships.

• Handle the daily accounting workload for assigned clients and ensure all entries and outputs are compliant and accurate.
• Review and prepare bookkeeping work, payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, and other financial documentation.
• Prepare and submit VAT and Corporate Tax filings in line with UAE requirements.
• Guide clients on VAT, Corporate Tax, AML, ESR, UBO, and related compliance obligations.
• Check financial statements and backup records for correctness and identify opportunities to improve processes or quality.
• Reply to client questions and provide prompt, professional support on accounting and tax matters.
• Keep financial records, trackers, and management reports organized and up to date.
• Develop trusted client relationships through consistent, high-quality service.
• Assist the wider team with other tasks as needed.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field, along with a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or CMA, or be actively working toward one.

Relevant experience of 1 to 2 years is required, including at least 1 year in the UAE. Prior work in an accounting firm or professional services environment is mandatory. A strong grasp of bookkeeping, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, VAT, and Corporate Tax is important, along with strong analytical, organisational, and communication abilities. A proactive mindset and a strong focus on client service are also expected.

Salary

The compensation for this role is AED 7,000 to AED 9,000 per month, depending on experience.
