Mandatory Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field is essential.
• At least five years of direct experience in BMC Control-M administration within large-scale enterprise settings.
• Demonstrated expertise managing Control-M environments supporting mission-critical production operations.
• Proven capability in performing Control-M upgrades, migrations, and ongoing platform maintenance.

Technical Expertise Required

• Experience with Control-M Enterprise Manager, Control-M Server, Agents, and Workload Automation.
• Understanding of Control-M Managed File Transfer (MFT), job scheduling, workflow management, and batch process optimization.
• Experience working with Control-M versions 8 through 9.0.21 and above.
• Comfortable with Linux, Unix, and Windows Server operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, PowerShell, and Perl.
• Familiarity with monitoring and service management tools including ServiceNow, OMi, and Geneos.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Certification as a BMC Control-M Service Professional (version 9) is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale Control-M upgrades and migrations.
• Integration experience of Control-M with applications, databases, cloud services, and file transfer protocols.
• Knowledge of Control-M REST and Automation APIs.
• Experience with DevOps tools and Infrastructure-as-Code technologies such as Git, Ansible, Rundeck, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• IBM MQ administration and enterprise Managed File Transfer exposure is a plus.
