Biology Expert - Remote

Job Overview

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Biology Expert to contribute remotely on a contract basis. The role focuses on evaluating and enhancing biology-related content within AI development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Critically analyze and provide comprehensive feedback on biological data, prompts, and content integrated into AI workflows.
• Develop, assess, and refine scientific scenarios, questions, and explanations that illustrate complex biological issues.
• Apply expert biological knowledge to ensure accuracy and depth in AI training datasets and outputs.
• Work in collaboration with platform teams to resolve uncertainties, improving biological data quality and representation.
• Maintain thorough documentation of findings, methods, and reasoning to support project transparency and reproducibility.
• Engage in iterative review cycles to continuously enhance the AI system's biological capabilities.
• Participate in knowledge exchange sessions with experts from other disciplines to enrich the project results.

Preferred Qualifications

• A PhD in biology or a related life sciences field.
• Strong command of fundamental biological concepts with the ability to explain complex topics to varied audiences.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to clearly express scientific insights and feedback.
• Experience in scientific data analysis, critical research evaluation, and synthesis of complex information.
• Proven efficacy working independently, delivering quality results within project timelines.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary scientific or technology projects; familiarity with AI is advantageous but not essential.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to upholding scientific accuracy and rigor.
