Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate Baker to join our Woolworths New Zealand team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop a career in bakery within a dynamic retail environment. You'll engage in preparing and baking breads and cakes, ensuring top quality produced daily.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of high-quality breads and cakes for the bakery department.
• Uphold health and safety and food safety standards to guarantee excellent service and product quality for customers.
• Support the training, development, and supervision of apprentices and bakery team members.

Candidate Profile

• Proven baking experience and sound knowledge of baking practices.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, adapt to flexible schedules, and meet strict deadlines.

Working Hours

Typical roster: Tuesday to Saturday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
