Role Overview

As a Backend Engineer at Upriver based in Engineer, British Columbia, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining backend systems that drive our AI agents and autonomous workflows. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, dependable backend services powering Upriver's AI-driven products.
• Engage deeply with innovative AI agent structures and workflows to enhance practical applications.
• Design end-to-end solutions including data ingestion pipelines, orchestration layers, and APIs catering to actual customer needs.
• Manage the full lifecycle of product features: conceptualize, implement, deploy, observe usage, and iterate based on feedback and impact metrics.
