Backend Engineer Intern

Job Description

• Engage in the entire development lifecycle from initial brainstorming to engineering implementation.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code subject to peer reviews.
• Collaborate closely with fellow software engineers, product managers, UX designers, and operations engineers to develop products.
• Complete delegated development tasks under the mentorship and supervision of a mentor and technical team leader.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or higher degree program in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong enthusiasm for coding, innovation, and solving complex technical challenges.
• Solid knowledge of data structures and core computer science principles.
• Possess a positive work attitude, effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and good communication skills.
• Understand the architecture of high-quality web applications, including RESTful API design, relational databases, and caching mechanisms.
• Experience working on real-world web applications is highly advantageous.
• Availability to commit for at least 6 months starting June or July 2026, either full-time or at minimum four days per week part-time.
