AWS Infrastructure Architect

Overview

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. is seeking an AWS Infrastructure Architect to design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions for modernization and migration projects. The role focuses on translating business requirements into robust AWS-based architectures, leading technical teams, and ensuring security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure on AWS.
• Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business goals and convert them into technical solutions.
• Implement security measures, manage identity and access control, and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
• Serve as a technical expert and provide leadership and guidance to development teams to tackle complex technical problems.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Must hold AWS professional certifications demonstrating proficiency in AWS services and cloud fundamentals.
• Strong experience with AWS core services including networking, databases, and cloud security standards.
• Expertise in infrastructure automation tools, particularly AWS CloudFormation.
• Ability to design solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure, translating business challenges into architectural designs.
• Proven capacity to lead and advise development teams aligning with best practices and industry standards.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as developers, project managers, and analysts to meet client requirements.
• Continuous learning and application of latest advances in solution architecture to provide innovative and competitive solutions.

Additional Information

• Reports to Program Manager.
• Leads a team of approximately 20 members.
• No onsite opportunity available; based in Chennai, India.
• This role offers the chance to demonstrate architectural proficiency, build strategic customer IT relationships, and influence future cloud strategies.
• Project focus: Modernizing and migrating applications from on-premises environments to AWS cloud to improve application efficiency.
