Role Overview

We are recruiting an AutoCAD Technician to contribute to the design and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects internationally. The role demands creating precise AutoCAD drawings and coordinating technical documentation for treatment plants, pumping stations, pipelines, and other civil assets. You will collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary design teams adhering to ISO 19650 standards and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate as an integral member of a larger design team to ensure project success.
• Create and update detailed AutoCAD drawings and related technical documents.
• Prepare 2D drawings, sectional views, detailed diagrams, and schedules following project specifications across civil water and wastewater facilities.
• Support information delivery compliant with ISO 19650 guidelines.
• Coordinate drawing inputs with civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering disciplines.
• Manage drawing coordination and resolve multi-disciplinary issues.
• Implement design adjustments and oversee drawing revision processes.
• Maintain drawings and data integrity within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Assist engineers with drawing production and continuous design refinement.
• Contribute to project handover documentation and asset data deliverables.
• Ensure drawing accuracy and timely delivery according to agreed schedules.
• Promote continuous improvement in work processes and project outcomes.
• Participate in requisite training sessions to meet role requirements.
• Adopt flexibility to accommodate evolving responsibilities as necessitated by company needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferably at least 5 years of relevant experience; exceptional candidates with less may be considered.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies and building regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software, especially for General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Skilled in common Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational and time management skills capable of prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, sufficient for technical project contexts.
• Adept at working collaboratively within multidisciplinary and culturally diverse teams.
• A proactive, positive, and solution-focused attitude is essential.
