Role Overview
The Autocad Designer is responsible for generating and updating detailed architectural and construction drawings aligned with design directives and site needs. Key daily tasks include drafting floor plans, elevations, sections, and layouts, assisting in space planning efforts, and ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety norms, and regulations. Collaboration with architects, engineers, and project teams is essential to clarify specifications, rectify drawing discrepancies, and incorporate feedback into updated plans. Maintaining well-organized drawing files and adhering to drafting standards are crucial aspects of the role, which supports the documentation necessary for executing projects. This position is a full-time, on-site opportunity located in Goa, India.
Qualifications & Skills
- Expertise in creating precise architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
- Skilled in drawing and space planning to convert design concepts into practical layouts and technical schemes.
- Strong communication abilities for effective teamwork and requirement clarification.
- Relevant academic background in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or similar disciplines, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Keen attention to detail, capability to interpret technical documentation, and awareness of building codes and standards.
- Excellent time management aptitude to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines within a dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity with additional design software such as SketchUp, Revit, or 3D visualization tools is considered a plus.
