직무 설명
Role Purpose
This position involves supervising the execution of operational plans and implementing enhancements to established policies, procedures, standards, and reports. The role supports auditors with analysis, manages follow-ups on audits, handles complex cases, and reviews financial data to recommend customs amounts in line with approved frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and revise valuation templates and audit instruments per operational policies to assess systems, business processes, financial and non-financial records, physical inventories, and assets.
- Monitor industry trends and news across sectors such as business, insurance, telecommunications, and consumer goods to stay updated on evolving customs practices and include these insights in audits.
- Keep SME post-audit manuals, eligibility rules, declarations, legal requirements, and supporting files updated by merchant category, integrating these into computer-assisted audit tools to streamline audits.
- Consolidate, categorize, and prioritize SME post-audit plans by industry, distributing them to audit teams for evaluation.
- Carry out subsequent audits across the Kingdom, validating legal documents submitted by SMEs, verifying their declarations and records, and ensuring documentation adequacy before assessing liabilities.
- Collect required declarations for office audits and coordinate with stakeholders including account managers, banks, audit offices, and government entities to gather information and confirmations; work closely with legal divisions regarding contractual legitimacy.
- Conduct research on general news, declaration regulations, channels, and business structures to understand SME activities, including size and jurisdiction.
- Review taxpayer returns to pinpoint high-risk and non-compliant cases; communicate internally to mitigate risks such as tax evasion.
- Oversee SME appeals and objections, coordinating with Legal Affairs or related secretariats to resolve disputes and supporting certifications by clarifying audit conclusions.
- Generate reports on high-risk audits and share findings with relevant parties.
- Compile reports and statistics on SMEs grouped by type, segment, and size to identify trends aiding revenue assessment and forecasting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- A Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent is preferred.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience is required.
