Role overview
This remote position is for a candidate located in the United States and is posted on behalf of a partner employer that handles all application review and next-step communication. The role blends project delivery, customer engagement, and cross-functional coordination, with a focus on complex energy efficiency installations for commercial clients.
You will act as the main customer contact during the full project journey, keeping clients informed, aligned, and confident from planning through installation. In partnership with Sales, Customer Success, and technical project teams, you will turn operational updates into clear, client-ready communication. Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for assigned field projects and maintain steady communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Share timelines, milestones, and status updates in a way that keeps customers well informed and confident in progress.
- Work closely with Customer Success Managers and Sales teams to stay aligned on account strategy, customer needs, and project priorities.
- Coordinate with internal project managers, operations staff, and outside contractors to keep work moving and resolve issues quickly.
- Participate in or lead customer discussions, including conversations with executives, directors, and on-site stakeholders.
- Create customer-facing reports that summarize progress, milestones, risks, and current project status.
- Support strong alignment across Sales, Customer Success, and Operations so delivery stays coordinated across multiple workstreams.
- Build working knowledge of internal workflows related to HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, kitchen ventilation, and renewable energy systems.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in project management, customer engagement, operations, or a similar coordination-focused role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage several projects at once while staying organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.
- Experience using CRM or project management tools to monitor progress and manage workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving approach, with the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment while staying closely connected with distributed teams.
- PMP certification or exposure to formal project management methods is an added advantage.
