Job Overview
The Human Capital Assistant Manager (Employee Relations) will support the human resources team in attracting top talent and ensuring a rewarding employee experience from onboarding through the entire employment lifecycle. The role emphasizes fostering staff engagement and retention by managing compensation, benefits, recognition, training, performance, and employee relations. The manager will promote a welcoming, diverse culture and assist employees in achieving professional growth within the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure treatments and practices align with company values and goals regarding employee relations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and HR teams to design and implement best practices and employee relations programs.
- Manage employee complaints, grievance procedures, and counseling coordination with relevant parties.
- Investigate and address complex or critical employee relations matters promptly and effectively.
- Regularly collect and analyze employee feedback to refine workforce policies and enhance outcomes.
- Lead or engage in projects aimed at continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Oversee talent acquisition including sourcing, assessments, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding procedures.
- Maintain current and compliant job descriptions reflecting organizational needs.
- Develop training and performance management initiatives ensuring employees understand responsibilities and comply with legal and safety requirements.
- Formulate and update compensation strategies through analyzing the market and pay survey data.
- Conduct individual and group psychometric assessments and deliver feedback.
- Facilitate resolution of employee concerns and conflicts effectively.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to quality assurance practices and consistent accurate execution.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, time management, and project coordination skills, with the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly advanced Excel capabilities including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, conditional formatting, IF functions, and macros.
- Effective project management skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments in a dynamic environment.
- Understanding of business-to-business marketing strategies and their application in professional service sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative approach to working alongside marketing and client service teams.
- Highly detail-oriented with exemplary organizational abilities.
- Quick learner, capable of swift and precise execution of tasks.
Work Environment
This role allows remote work from home or other remote locations. It requires maintaining a quiet and calm workspace to ensure operational efficiency.
