Core Duties
- Operate all pizza-making and store equipment efficiently.
- Manage inventory by stocking ingredients from deliveries to storage and preparation areas.
- Prepare pizza products and process telephone orders accurately.
- Take inventory counts and complete related documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and store premises daily.
Training and Communication
- Receive job orientation and ongoing on-the-job training.
- Follow written instructions precisely and communicate effectively with customers and team members in person and over the phone.
Essential Skills and Abilities
- Perform accurate and quick basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with calculator assistance if needed.
- Handle cash transactions correctly and make change.
- Demonstrate motor coordination for rapid and precise movements.
- Use computer systems or touch screens to enter orders efficiently.
Work Environment
- Exposure to varying weather conditions during outdoor tasks such as trash removal.
- Store temperature variations ranging from 36°F in coolers to above 90°F in some areas.
- Frequent temperature changes inside and outside the store.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher), sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
- Workspaces may be confined, including walk-in coolers.
Physical and Sensory Requirements
- Communicate clearly by phone and in person.
- Use near and mid-range vision and depth perception for tasks.
- Distinguish between hot and cold surfaces for safety.
