Assistant Director

Role Overview

The Assistant Director at Goodstart Pialba, located in the Hervey Bay Region QLD 4655 (Butchulla Land), will collaborate closely with the Centre Director to support and lead the early learning centre. This role involves guiding the team to ensure delivery of quality early education and care services in a centre accommodating 74 children.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Centre Director in leading and managing the centre and its team.
• Mentor and develop staff capabilities within the centre to promote growth and quality service.
• Assume management responsibility for the centre during the Director's absence.
• Implement and maintain the standards outlined in the Goodstart Practice Guide.
• Work in partnership with families and engage with local community networks to strengthen relationships and inclusive programming.

• Hourly pay ranging from $42.38 to $43.76 depending on qualifications and experience.
