They are seeking a motivated and highly organized Assistant Buyer to join their team in Surry Hills, Sydney. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Buyers in handling trading and operational tasks for the Australian, US, and European markets.
- Generate and oversee purchase orders efficiently and accurately.
- Manage reorder processes across product categories, including accessories.
- Support weekly trade summaries and report on back in stock inventory.
- Maintain detailed spreadsheets tracking cost prices, quantities, and delivery timelines.
- Review bulk purchasing schedules and coordinate date uploads.
- Schedule photoshoots and manage product samples needed for marketing and sales efforts.
- Monitor rejected stock and collaborate to resolve warehouse issues.
- Conduct market competitor analysis and trend research to assist the buying team.
Required Experience and Skills
- 1 to 2 years of experience in buying or merchandising roles.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- High accuracy in managing purchase orders and supplier-related data.
- Capability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines across different regions simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced features like Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Proactive mindset paired with eagerness for growth and development within the brand.
