About the Role

Capital SMART, a leading accident repair network across Australia and New Zealand with over 60 locations, is seeking a dependable Assembler to join their team in Knoxfield, Victoria. This is a full-time, permanent position dedicated to ensuring vehicles are properly dismantled and reassembled during the repair process.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling vehicle parts such as bumpers, lights, trims, glass, and mechanical components prior to repair work.
• Prepping automobiles for panel and paint procedures.
• Reassembling vehicles after repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Performing quality checks on completed work before approval.
• Keeping the workspace clean and organized at all times.
• Accurately maintaining job cards and other documentation.

Requirements

• Previous exposure in smash repair, mechanical work, or automotive assembly environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle parts and their assembly.
• Capability to perform efficiently within a high-volume production repair setting.
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on quality.
• Dependability, punctuality, and ability to collaborate within a team.
• Legal rights to work in Australia.
