Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Gain comprehensive product knowledge through training sessions, meetings, and on-the-job learning organized by the company.
- Communicate effectively with subordinates to align and achieve defined goals.
- Implement strategies and systems strictly as per organizational directives.
- Focus on retaining existing team members and actively scouting for new talent.
- Conduct employee onboarding in accordance with company policies, maintaining adherence to code of conduct.
- Manage and develop vacant territories to meet business objectives.
- Support team members in addressing challenges involving stockists and chemists.
- Plan and submit travel schedules for self and team following company guidelines.
- Perform monthly analysis on primary and secondary sales, customer reach, and coverage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL) and key business leaders (KBL).
- Brief the team on incentive schemes to motivate performance.
- Drive achievement of annual and new product launch targets across all headquarters.
- Enhance team skills in detailing, product information, prescribed medicine profile analysis (RCPA), and clinical effectiveness.
- Identify new business opportunities for growth.
- Ensure team discipline and uphold ethical work standards.
- Organize academic activities such as Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions and conferences for doctors.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Possess solid understanding of human physiology and familiarity with company's products.
- Experience working with reputed companies in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrate career stability with minimal job changes.
- Evidence of internal promotions in prior roles along with key learnings and contributions.
- Proven experience in brand building and exceptional product detailing skills.
- Strong connections and rapport with key customers.
- Adept at gathering and utilizing market feedback.
- Ability to articulate thought processes and approach to problem solving through real-life examples.
- Track record of sales performance over the past three years.
- Examples of successfully identifying new customers and business opportunities.
- Experience in planning and organizing CME events in current role.
- Maintain low attrition rates within managed teams.
