Applied AI Intern

About the Role

Eragon is seeking a motivated Applied AI Intern to contribute to the development and deployment of robust AI systems designed for real-world use. This internship offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with engineering and research teams on transformative projects that reach actual users.

Responsibilities

• Support the fine-tuning, assessment, and application of machine learning models tailored to practical challenges.
• Assist in constructing and embedding AI-based features into live production environments.
• Manage and manipulate datasets required for training, validation, and iterative improvements.
• Conduct experimental trials, interpret findings, and enhance model efficacy through iterative development.
• Participate in designing evaluation frameworks and monitor ongoing system effectiveness.
• Collaborate across engineering and product teams to aid in feature creation and refinement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Python programming, with practical experience using machine learning libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Fundamental understanding of machine learning principles and pipeline processes.
• Strong analytical skills capable of dissecting problems and contributing actionable solutions.
• A keen eagerness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic setting.

Preferred Skills

• Prior exposure to machine learning projects, internships, or academic research.
• Knowledge of large language models, AI agents, or data pipeline frameworks.
• Hands-on experience creating projects beyond classroom assignments.
