Analyst - KYC/AML

Role overview

This position focuses on customer due diligence and anti-money laundering checks within a compliance-driven environment. The analyst will help review account profiles, identify risk indicators, support regulatory adherence, and contribute to investigations and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Examine newly opened customer profiles and confirm identity details.
• Evaluate customer and product-related risk, along with compliance concerns.
• Track market movements and study patterns in customer behavior.
• Support efforts to detect and prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, and related unlawful activity.
• Maintain accurate, current customer records for compliance purposes.
• Use findings from behavioral analysis to help improve the customer experience.
• Work with management to uphold internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
• Draft suspicious activity reports whenever required.
• Escalate high-risk accounts or incomplete documentation to the relevant authority.
• Carry out detailed data analysis to support decisions.

Candidate profile

• Open to graduates and postgraduates who are freshers and passed out between 2022 and 2025.
• Should have strong observation and reporting abilities.
• Must communicate well in both written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage several tasks and coordinate multiple assignments at once.
• Comfortable using common IT tools and systems.
• Good interpersonal skills are important.
• Capability in data analysis is expected.
• Should be able to work with management-level processes and coordination.
• Must be comfortable with research using both online and offline sources.
