About the Role
Jindal Stainless is seeking an experienced Data Science specialist based in Gurugram to contribute to analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence efforts. The position involves crafting predictive models, delivering actionable insights, streamlining report generation, and facilitating AI-focused transformation projects within Sales, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Operations functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement analytical and machine learning solutions addressing business challenges
- Create dashboards and automate management information system (MIS) reports
- Lead initiatives in forecasting, customer segmentation, optimization, and artificial intelligence applications
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance decision-making and improve operational workflows
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or AI/ML
- B.Tech or B.E. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or Engineering
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning techniques
- Expertise in Power BI and data visualization tools
- Strong foundation in statistical and predictive analytics methodologies
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Familiarity with AI/Generative AI, cloud analytics, and data engineering is advantageous
