Role overview
This is a remote, permanent Product Management role with an open budget. You will join a well-funded AI startup that is supported by an established technology group and is building an AI-native productivity platform for users around the world.
The position is highly technical and sits at the intersection of product, machine learning, and engineering. Your focus will be turning LLM capabilities into dependable AI products that are ready for real-world production use.
What you will do
- Set the product direction and define requirements for AI-driven features.
- Partner with ML, backend, and mobile engineering teams on architecture, design, and delivery.
- Lead experimentation, product evaluation, and ongoing improvement for AI features.
- Make thoughtful trade-offs between quality, response time, cost, reliability, and user experience.
- Take ownership of the product lifecycle from early concept to launch and production support.
What the role calls for
- At least 5 years of product management experience in technical software products.
- Practical experience building products powered by AI or LLMs.
- Good working knowledge of LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, or AI workflows.
- Familiarity with AI testing and evaluation, hallucinations, model constraints, and feedback loops.
- Strong grasp of system design and core software engineering concepts.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and proven product leadership ability.
Nice to have
- Background as a Technical Product Manager or Software Engineer.
- Experience shipping AI-first consumer products.
- Startup experience or ownership in a zero-to-one product environment.
