Role Overview

The Adventure Park Technician is entrusted with ensuring the safety, maintenance, and smooth functioning of all adventure park equipment and facilities. This includes overseeing the condition and operation of various attractions such as ropes courses, zip lines, climbing walls, harnesses, and belay systems. The goal is to uphold strict safety standards in line with machinery guidelines and company protocols to guarantee an enjoyable and secure guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily inspections before opening to verify the safety and condition of all adventure park attractions and equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance regularly on ropes courses, zip lines, climbing structures, harnesses, helmets, and related technical devices.
• Examine structural elements including cables, platforms, anchors, pulleys, braking systems, and safety devices to ensure they meet operational and safety criteria.
• Implement repairs and replace parts that show wear or damage to maintain optimal working condition.
• Keep thorough maintenance and inspection records along with equipment servicing documentation.
• Ensure adherence to internal safety policies, manufacturer instructions, and relevant industry standards.
• Promptly report any safety concerns, equipment faults, or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with yearly inspections and external safety audits conducted by third parties.
• Support emergency response activities and provide assistance during technical rescue situations when necessary.
• Manage workshop tools, maintain inventory of spare parts, and organize maintenance equipment.
• Collaborate with operations teams to reduce downtime while prioritizing safety compliance.
• Keep workspaces tidy, well-organized, and free from potential hazards.
• Participate actively in ongoing safety and technical training programs to stay updated.
• Help with the setup and launching of new attractions and equipment as needed.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by supervisory personnel.
