About the Opportunity
Cognizant is hiring an AEP and AJO specialist to work on modern customer experience and data orchestration initiatives. The role focuses on configuring Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Journey Optimizer to support identity, segmentation, personalization, and cross-channel activation for enterprise use cases.
Work Location
This position is based in Pune, India. Candidates may also be considered for Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Kochi, and Kolkata.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and maintain XDM schemas in Adobe Experience Platform.
- Work on identity resolution, profile creation, segmentation, and source/destination setup.
- Build journey flows in Adobe Journey Optimizer, including event-based triggers and audience qualification rules.
- Configure templates, offers, personalization logic, throttling, and frequency capping.
- Handle edge network concepts and support tag management using Adobe Launch or another TMS.
- Use JSON, APIs, webhooks, and transformation logic to move and shape data effectively.
- Apply data privacy, consent, and governance practices in enterprise environments.
Must-Have Skills
- Practical, hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- Ability to design schemas, manage identities, and work with profiles and segments.
- Experience with journey orchestration, triggers, and personalization rules.
- Comfort with APIs, JSON, webhooks, and data transformation workflows.
- Understanding of consent management and privacy controls.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Adobe Target, offer decisioning, or Adobe Campaign integrations.
- Experience setting up email, SMS, or push message rendering.
- Working knowledge of Kafka, Kinesis, Snowflake, BigQuery, or ETL/ELT tools.
- Basic scripting skills in Python or Node.js.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices for configuration-as-code.
- Understanding of CDPs and omnichannel activation patterns.
