Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to develop, maintain, and optimize Tanium solutions aimed at endpoint discovery, data gathering, and automated remediation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and uphold Tanium solutions that facilitate endpoint discovery and streamline data collection alongside remediation workflows.
- Develop and revise scripts to enhance Tanium actions and automate operational tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve issues within Tanium deployments to maintain reliable performance across all endpoints.
- Work jointly with security and IT operations teams to convert requirements into functional Tanium capabilities.
- Record all configurations, modifications, and procedures methodically to support ongoing maintenance and audit processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Between 2 and 4 years of experience relevant to Tanium development and administration.
- Expertise in configuring Tanium capabilities and deploying endpoint data collection and actions.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting workflow performance and reliability within Tanium environments.
- Experience validating deployments and automating tasks through scripting.
Additional Qualifications
- Familiarity with Python scripting leveraged for automation is an advantage.
- Experience in scripting for operational workflows enhances effectiveness.
Education
Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
