About the Role
This position offers essential first-line administrative support to Pharmaceutical Press Ltd. under the direction of the Administration Manager, ensuring effective task coordination and smooth operations across multiple departments. The role involves collaborating as part of a small Administration team and may require acting as a deputy for the Administration Manager and other colleagues when necessary.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing administrative assistance to the Administration Manager and supporting workflow continuity within and between departments, including managing diaries and team inboxes.
- Offering administrative aid to the broader Publishing team by drafting correspondence, processing contracts, reconciling credit card expenses, coordinating travel and meetings, preparing meeting documents, taking meeting minutes, and maintaining records and data management.
- Supporting the creation and upkeep of administrative and informational procedures such as travel and room bookings, and managing office and technical supplies.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in an administrative capacity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to manage priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in minute-taking is highly preferred.
- Skill in developing and implementing administrative processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships and collaborate flexibly across varying professional and operational areas.
