Role Overview
A construction company is seeking a proficient Admin Assistant to manage a variety of administrative and HR duties essential to the organization's function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage foreign worker processes including new applications, renewals, and cancellations for Work Permits, S Passes, and Employment Passes, ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines.
- Draft and prepare employment-related documents such as offer letters, confirmation letters, and warning notices.
- Handle payroll administration for foreign workers.
- Supervise and monitor movement within workers’ dormitories.
- Coordinate flight arrangements for workers.
- Maintain comprehensive employee records and HR files.
- Organize training courses for workers.
- File and manage administrative documents efficiently.
- Respond professionally to incoming communications including calls, faxes, letters, and emails.
- Perform general administrative tasks and oversee additional HR responsibilities as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience as an Admin Assistant within the construction sector.
- Familiarity with the Employment Act, Work Injury Compensation, and Work Pass procedures.
- Demonstrate a constructive and professional work attitude.
- Maintain a positive demeanor and high motivation.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure and meeting stringent deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision.
