Role Overview

The Accounts & Finance Manager in Food & Beverage is a full-time, on-site position located in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing daily financial operations such as accounts payable/receivable, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management. The manager prepares detailed monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cost evaluations tailored to F&B operations including inventory, wastage, and margin oversight. Ensuring adherence to local financial laws, tax regulations, and internal controls, as well as supporting audit processes, are key responsibilities. This position liaises with operations, procurement, and senior leadership to fine-tune pricing, reduce costs, and boost profitability while providing periodic financial insights for decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for multiple kitchens and reconcile sales, inventory, and commissions between ERP and accounting software.
• Oversee vendor accounts payable system, including vendor onboarding.
• Execute cost control practices, inventory management, and stock audits.
• Carry out menu item costing, variance analyses, recipe creation, and system uploads.
• Analyze accounting data to generate financial reports and statements.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts like inventories and prepaid deposits with the General Ledger.
• Coordinate purchasing activities and communicate with reporting manager or CEO.
• Manage company cash balances and prepare cash forecasts.
• Compile monthly balance sheets, income statements, and budget variance reports.
• Handle petty cash transactions and replenishments.
• Produce monthly reports including cash flow projections and special financial analyses for management reviews.
• Formulate detailed general ledger and closing reports.
• Maintain payment records and outgoing payment registers.
• Support accounting activities during store inventories and post relevant journals.
• Record all month-end closing journals and maintain supporting schedules.
• Act as the primary contact for external, internal, and revenue audits.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory financial legislation and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong proficiency in accounting and financial management covering general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control, ideally within F&B or hospitality sectors.
• Experience managing cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and optimizing working capital.
• Knowledge of UAE or regional financial laws, taxation, compliance, internal controls, and audit support.
• Advanced skills using accounting and ERP systems, particularly SAPAAD and QUICKBOOKS, coupled with robust Excel abilities for financial modeling and analysis.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, organizational skills, attention to detail, and deadline adherence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective cross-functional collaboration with operations, procurement, and leadership teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalents provide added advantage.
• Prior experience in managerial finance roles with proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams, preferably within the food and beverage industry.

• Employment Type: Permanent, full-time, on-site position
• Salary Range: AED 12,000 to AED 15,000 monthly, depending on qualifications and experience
• Availability: Immediate joining preferred, especially candidates holding a Cancel Visa or Visit Visa
