Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison between the US Accounting teams and Indian operations to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
• Collaborate with teams from Accounting, Operations, Collections, Recovery, Customer Service, and other departments to gather essential financial data.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports daily, weekly, monthly, and as needed for US management.
• Conduct thorough reviews, validations, and reconciliations of accounting and operational data to ensure accuracy.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures effectively.
• Oversee the accuracy of reports and ensure all deadlines are strictly observed.
• Analyze financial information to detect discrepancies and identify trends that impact the business.
• Engage with US stakeholders to address and resolve any queries related to reporting and accounting.
• Create and maintain reporting dashboards as well as Excel-based financial models for enhanced data presentation.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal accounting policies and reporting standards.
• Lead initiatives aimed at process improvements to boost reporting precision and operational efficiency.
• Manage cross-departmental projects linked to finance and accounting activities to support organizational goals.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in US Accounting or Finance Operations within Shared Services or Global Capability Centers (GCC).
• Background in Automotive Finance, Banking, Financial Services, or BPO sectors.
• Proficiency with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau tools is a valuable plus.
