Accountant

About the Role

Gupta Ji Electric Company is seeking a meticulous and dependable Accountant to oversee financial documentation, generate various reports, ensure adherence to accounting standards, and facilitate the organization's financial processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities, keen attention to detail, and be proficient in accounting software tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain precise financial records and ledgers.
• Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank and company accounts periodically.
• File GST, TDS, and other statutory returns accurately.
• Manage payroll and employee reimbursement procedures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax laws.
• Assist with internal and external auditing processes.
• Track cash flow and develop financial reports for management review.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com or M.Com preferred).
• 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and financial reporting guidelines.
• Proficient in accounting software such as Tally, Busy, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional certifications like CA Inter or CMA are advantageous.
• Experience in a similar industry is preferred.
