Italian Transcription QC & Language Quality Analyst Internship

About the internship

This work-from-home internship is for Italian-language candidates who are detail-oriented and experienced in transcription quality control, audio review, annotation checking, and language quality assurance. The role focuses on evaluating Italian transcription files against the source audio to make sure the final output follows client standards and project instructions.

What you will do

• Compare Italian transcripts with the corresponding audio and review them for accuracy.
• Spot issues in spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting, timestamps, and speaker tagging.
• Identify omissions, mistranslations, incorrect transcription, segmentation problems, and any departures from the project brief.
• Fix transcription and QC errors to maintain consistency and high-quality output.
• Carry out audio checks and confirm the transcript is complete.
• Review annotation work and flag guideline or labeling errors.
• Keep clear records of corrections, findings, and quality notes.
• Work with internal teams on revisions, feedback, and process improvements.
• Take part in review rounds and apply feedback to raise quality standards.
• Protect the confidentiality of client audio and project-related data.
• Finish assigned QC work within deadlines while meeting productivity expectations.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work remotely, start between 3 July 2026 and 7 August 2026, and commit for 2 months. Applicants should have strong interest and relevant skills, and the role specifically prefers Computer Science Engineering students.

Requirements

• Strong command of Italian, including reading, writing, listening, and comprehension.
• Ability to review Italian transcription files and detect language or transcription issues efficiently.
• Good listening skills for audio-to-text comparison work.
• Experience or exposure to Italian transcription QC, audio QC, proofreading, localization, annotation review, or language review is preferred.
• Native or fluent Italian speakers will be preferred.
• Access to a laptop or desktop with a reliable internet connection.
• Capacity to maintain accuracy while working to deadlines.
• Responsibility, attention to detail, and a quality-focused approach.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Additional information

The internship offers a stipend ranging from ₹7,000 to ₹24,000 per month. The stipend is made up of a fixed component of ₹5,000 to ₹15,000 per month and an incentive component of ₹2,000 to ₹9,000 per month. There are 12 openings available. The internship starts immediately and lasts for 2 months.
