About the Internship
This internship involves supporting fundraising initiatives by identifying and targeting venture capital firms and angel investors aligned with investment priorities. The intern will develop essential fundraising materials such as pitch decks and executive summaries, conduct outreach through various communication channels, and manage the investor pipeline using a CRM system. Additionally, the role requires market and competitor research to enhance the funding pitch, coordination of investor meetings, and organization of due diligence documentation.
Responsibilities
- Create a detailed target list of venture capital and angel investors, matching their investment focus and portfolio specifics.
- Design and prepare fundraising documents that include pitch decks, one-pagers, and detailed funding requirement breakdowns.
- Execute investor outreach strategies via cold and warm emails, maintain follow-up communications, and keep records updated within the CRM software.
- Gather and analyze market trends, competitor data, and total accessible markets (TAM, SAM, SOM) to bolster fundraising efforts.
- Arrange and coordinate investor calls, prepare briefing documents, and monitor follow-up activities.
- Maintain a well-organized data room and ensure all due diligence documents are accessible.
