About the Internship
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to explore the steel industry through comprehensive market research and commercial analysis. Interns will focus on analyzing products within the steel segment, identifying relevant business opportunities, and understanding the value chain and compliance requirements associated with these products. The role includes studying product applications across different industries, assessing regional product potential, and preparing detailed business cases and presentations based on findings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed market and commercial research on steel products.
- Shortlist products suitable for business evaluation.
- Analyze the entire value chain for selected products.
- Evaluate product prospects in different geographic markets.
- Examine product use cases and relevant industries.
- Identify manufacturers, suppliers, and stockists, assessing their quality, pricing, and supply chain dynamics.
- Study compliance needs and prevailing market standards.
- Locate potential customers and procurement managers and understand their purchasing behaviors and pricing dynamics.
- Utilize problem-solving techniques such as the 5 Whys for root cause analysis.
- Develop comprehensive business cases and prepare final presentations summarizing insights and recommendations.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be available to work remotely during 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm Indian Standard Time, aligning with the company's local Central European Time working hours of 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
- Available to start the internship between July 22, 2026, and August 26, 2026.
- Commitment to the full 3-month duration of the internship.

Additional Requirements
- Currently studying or recently graduated in disciplines like business, commerce, engineering, economics, or related fields.

Compensation and Perks
The internship offers a stipend of 1000 INR per month. Candidates will enjoy the benefit of flexible working hours in a fully remote setting.
