About Limatica
Limatica is a vibrant startup focused on transforming battery diagnostics by enhancing battery cell quality to decrease scrap rates through an innovative measurement technique developed in-house. Established in 2023 with prototype development ongoing, the company welcomed its first employees and pilot collaborators in 2025. Planning to expand beyond pilot phase in 2026, Limatica is eager to bring on passionate individuals ready to innovate and contribute actively.

Role Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire mechanical test setups and rigs tailored for battery cell evaluation, ranging from individual components to comprehensive stations integrating mechanical and automation aspects.
- Engage in precise fitting, adjusting, and securing mechanical parts, displaying enthusiasm for hands-on assembly tasks.
- Assist with prototype design and refinement by interpreting sketches into CAD models and transforming these into functional hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical problems in collaboration with the hardware team to maintain operational test setups.
- Optionally, collaborate on battery cell testing in various conditions to analyze voltage noise characteristics.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or trained in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Precision Mechanics, or a related technical discipline with practical skills.
- Possess a passion for building and tinkering, comfortable with tools, and capable of bringing designs from CAD (preferably FreeCAD experience) to tangible instruments.
- Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable mindset with a commitment to task completion and an ability to manage technical complexities.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail in both constructing setups and documenting work procedures.
- Thrives in collaborative team settings, valuing teamwork and communication.
- Interest in sustainable energy and battery technologies is advantageous.
